Motor ship "Lev Dovator". Motor ship "Lev Dovator" Greetings from the non-existent GDR, the heroic captain and the stuffing of the yacht

Three-deck passenger river boat who completed work in the field river cruises in August 2011, will return to the Volga in 2016 (later the date was shifted to 2018 - note site), but already as a private pleasure boat, re-equipped with the latest time and technology.

The reconstruction of the ship, which began in April 2012, was supposed to be completed by the start of navigation in 2014, but the deadlines were delayed. The reasons for the delay were caused by an increase in the volume of work in a larger direction than originally planned. In fact, only the hull remained from the previous ship, everything else will be built anew, and the technical stuffing will be replaced with a new one.

Motor ship "Arabella" was built in 1955. From construction until October 2002, he worked in under the name. In 2003, it was reequipped in Moscow and received the current name. In 2004, she went on voyages, starting work from Moscow to St. Petersburg, and during the non-navigation period, the vessel was used for several years as a floating hotel at the Northern River Station of Moscow. In 2010, the ship did not go into operation, and in the fall, after bankruptcy, the Arabella was sold to Kazan, travel company"Admiral".

On July 10, 2011, the crew of the ship took part in the rescue of the tourists "Bulgaria", on. At the time of work on lifting the sunken "Bulgaria", which lasted almost until the end of July, the headquarters of the operation to raise the vessel was located on the "Arabella". In August, the Arabella made several voyages, but part of the cruises, including autumn ones, were canceled, on which the ship ended the season. "Admiral" suffered losses, since the Ministry of Emergency Situations did not compensate him for the demurrage of the ship for a while rescue operation, and sales of cruises after the crash of "Bulgaria" in Kazan completely stood up. In this regard, the owners put the ship up for sale.

In January 2012, it was announced that an agreement had been signed between Admiral LLC and the new owner, which was, in turn, part of the Ak Bars holding, which became the actual owner. In April, it was announced that the ship would be taken out of cruise service and after re-equipment it would become a private passenger cruise ship of increased comfort.

Work on the re-equipment project No. 3131, developed at the Rechflot State Central Design Bureau, began in the spring of 2012 in the village of Kirelskoye, and then continued at the Zelenodolsk shipyard in Zelenodolsk.

According to the project, "Arabella" will become a new passenger ship of increased comfort with elements of a previously operated motor ship, intended for corporate events and recreation on the water for non-commercial purposes.

After completion of the work, the vessel will be 96.50 meters long, 14.30 meters wide, 4.30 meters high, and have a draft of 2.25 meters. The passenger capacity of the ship is determined at 80 people, for whom 28 beds are provided. The crew of the ship - 32 people. The power of the main engines will be 3x450 kW. Works are carried out for class +O2.0 of the Russian River Register.

Everything else, apparently, will remain unchanged, according to the originally announced plans. A restaurant will be located on the boat deck, another restaurant will be transformed into a conference hall, two VIP rooms. On the middle deck - a VIP cabin with an area of 60 square meters, a children's playroom. On the main deck there is a VIP-cabin with an area of 60 square meters, a bar-tea room, a sauna complex (a Russian wood-fired sauna, a Turkish bath, a hammam, a swimming pool, a massage room) and a gym. At the stern of the vessel there will be a hydraulic bathing platform lowering to the water level.

In April 2012, the deputy director of tourism at the Admiral company, Evgenia Kazakova, told the Vedomosti newspaper that Arabella would be in corporate use by the management of the Ak Bars holding and, possibly, the government of the Republic of Tatarstan. A teacher at the Volga State Academy water transport Alexander Vlasenko said that the department for the affairs of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan was involved in the purchase.

The transaction amount of 140 million rubles announced at the same time in a number of media did not correspond to reality. According to a representative of one of the cruise companies considering the purchase of the ship, the real price was more than two times lower and did not exceed 55 million rubles.

Updated:20.11.2015 - General Director of JSC "Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant named after. Gorky" Renat Mistakhov said that the reconstruction work would be completed no earlier than 2017-2018. According to him, the main reason for the delays is the situation in the economy. Almost 1 billion rubles are required to complete its modernization and reconstruction.

Motor ship "Arabella" with a passenger capacity of 150 people has 75 cabins located on three residential decks. Motor ship "Arabella" underwent a complete reconstruction in the inter-navigation period of 2002-2003, and at the same time, the interiors of the 60s of the 20th century were preserved or repeated as much as possible. The cabins have one, two beds (or one double bed), wardrobes, mirrors, shelves for books, a table, lamps, depending on the size of the cabin, one, two or three windows (or portholes), a bathroom (toilet, washbasin, shower, mirror , shelves). Cold and hot water is uninterrupted. In winter, the ship is used in Moscow in the "Motor ship - Hotel" version.
  • Review to Izmailovo Vega Chose the hotel strictly on a geographical basis. There are a whole bunch of them in the metro area, wandered through the sites, chose Vega. Not disappointed. Special thanks for the complete set in the bathroom. It seems that I have never seen a more complete and thorough one in Russia, there is everything, including cotton buds, sponges and a shoe brush))) There were problems with the safe in the room, I got ready to make a fuss, and then ... Well, felt boots, in short, it's a shame to remember. April 11, 2018
  • Review of Golden Ear In general, I liked the hotel: quite cheap, while close to the metro, and not far from the center. There was a slight confusion with the buildings - the hotel buildings do not correspond to the indicated building buildings on the address plates, but in general you can find your building without any problems. The rooms are small but quite comfortable. There is everything you need for a relatively short stop. All plumbing in the bathroom worked properly, and I also really liked the fact that there is an iron and ironing board on the floor, so... July 1, 2016

  • Reviewed for Moscow We were passing through Moscow with friends, there was enough free time, and we decided to go to the quest room (many people praise such entertainment, we decided to see for ourselves). And you know, we didn't regret a bit! We visited the quest "An hour before Chernobyl", we really liked the friendly atmosphere, they immediately offered tea / coffee, play a console while waiting for our turn for the quest. The game itself is very dynamic, there is where to think and use ingenuity. Absolutely loved it!!! If you are in Moscow, go... September 17, 2015
  • Review of LikeHome Apartments Polyanka We felt at home in the apartment. We had at our disposal a whole apartment with a kitchen, a bathroom, fully furnished and a loggia. There was all the necessary utensils and household appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, washing machine, iron, kettle, etc.). Plus it's all in the center within walking distance of the metro. I really liked LikeHome Hotel Polyanka Apartments. The service staff is very polite. Convenient transfer service hotel-airport and vice versa (cheap, convenient, drivers are very polite). As Realnoe Vremya has learned, due to the difficult situation in the economy, the Zelenodolsk Gorky Shipbuilding Plant has postponed the completion of the reconstruction of the motor ship Arabella for 2017-2018. It was this ship that came to the aid of the victim in 2011, the disaster "Bulgaria". Recall that it was acquired by the structures of Ak Bars Holding back in 2012 to organize a corporate vessel.

Looking for a customer for a new ship with elements of the old one

General Director of OJSC Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant named after V.I. Gorky” Renat Mistakhov told the correspondent about the reconstruction of the motor ship “Arabella”, which is known primarily due to the fact that it was the first to come to the aid of the passengers of the deceased “Bulgaria”. Later, the Ak Bars holding bought it for its own needs.

– The reconstruction of Arabella will not end in 2016. We have completed work on the hull, now work is underway on the superstructure of the ship, outwardly we tried to keep the ship in the form in which it was. Inside, it will be completely different, plus the hull, shaft line, and engine are being completely replaced. All this will allow you to see the ship in a new look. There will be new toppings. I think that we will finish the reconstruction in 2017-2018,” Renat Mistakhov told Realnoe Vremya. – The main reason for delays is the situation in the economy. Almost 1 billion rubles are required to complete its modernization and reconstruction. We are still looking for a customer. It's always like that in the civilian fleet. So far it is Ak Bars Holding, but I think that another customer or investor may appear in the future. We are more in search of an investor than a buyer, within the framework of sharing.

According to Gennady Aleksashin, technical director of State Central Design Bureau Rechflota LLC, the developer of the reconstruction project, there is no such vessel like it.

“In reality, this is not a renovation, this is the construction of a new vessel using elements of previously operated ones,” the expert says. Also, according to him, the estimated cost of a billion is “a normal price for a vessel of this class. Given the fact that this vessel is practically new.

At the moment, the body is completely done. “The hull of the old ship was taken and completely updated. There was a complete replacement of the outer skin, partly the design changed to a new location. The purpose is now different - the ship was a passenger one, now it is, by and large, a yacht, it is only for 28 people.

Greetings from the non-existent GDR, the heroic captain and the stuffing of the yacht

Recall that in the spring of 2012, when the republic continued to experience the pain of loss after the crash of the ship "Bulgaria", it became known that "Arabella" was acquired by the holding company "Ak Bars". According to the cruiseinform portal, it cost around 50 million rubles. This coincides with the estimates of representatives of the Kazan Shipping Company, who, in an interview with Realnoe Vremya, said that the price at which bidding for the purchase of motor ships in Russia starts starts from 50 million rubles.

"Arabella" previously (until 2002) was called "Lev Dovator" and from the moment of construction belonged to the Volga United river shipping company. At the beginning of the 2000s, it was taken over by the Pallada shipping company. According to Cruise-inform, the ship was refitted in Moscow in 2003 and was named Arabella. In 2004, it began making flights from Moscow to St. Petersburg, and during the non-navigation period, the ship was used for several years as a floating hotel at the Northern River Station of Moscow. In 2010, after the owner began to experience difficulties and went bankrupt, the Kazan travel company Admiral bought the ship.

During the crash of "Bulgaria" the ship's crew, led by captain Roman Lizalin, came to the rescue, taking on board 79 passengers, and then the ship was used by the Federal Ministry of Transport as a floating base for rescuers. At first, the ship was in the Kuibyshev backwater, and then it was transferred to the Zelenodolsk plant.

After the acquisition of the motor ship by the Ak Bars holding, the Gorky Central Design Bureau river fleet from Nizhny Novgorod developed a reconstruction project. The project was called "a new passenger ship of increased comfort with elements of the previously operated motor ship" Arabella "project 588". From the characteristics of the future vessel (published on the State Central Design Bureau of the River Fleet website), it is clear that it will be used for corporate events and recreation on the water for non-commercial purposes. Its length will be 96.50 meters, along the wake line - 90.00 meters, width - 14.30 meters, depth - 4.30 meters, draft - 2.25 meters. An excerpt characterizing Arabella (ship)

- How did the star find itself in the image? Pierre asked.
- Did you make your mother a general? - said Prince Andrei smiling.
Pelageushka suddenly turned pale and clasped her hands.
“Father, father, sin on you, you have a son!” she spoke, suddenly turning from pallor into a bright color.
- Father, what did you say, God forgive you. - She crossed herself. “God, forgive him. Mother, what is this? ... - she turned to Princess Marya. She got up and almost crying began to collect her purse. She was evidently both frightened and ashamed that she enjoyed the blessings in the house where they could say this, and it was a pity that she now had to be deprived of the blessings of this house.
- Well, what are you looking for? - said Princess Mary. Why did you come to me?...
“No, I’m joking, Pelageushka,” said Pierre. - Princesse, ma parole, je n "ai pas voulu l" offerr, [Princess, I really didn’t want to offend her,] I just did. Don't think, I was joking, - he said, smiling timidly and wanting to make amends for his guilt. - After all, it's me, and he was just joking.
Pelageyushka stopped incredulously, but there was such sincerity of repentance in Pierre’s face, and Prince Andrei looked so meekly at Pelageyushka and then at Pierre that she gradually calmed down.

The wanderer calmed down and, brought back to conversation, then talked for a long time about Father Amphilochius, who was such a holy life that his hand smelled of his hand, and how the monks she knew on her last journey to Kyiv gave her the keys to the caves, and how she, taking crackers with her, spent two days in caves with saints. “I will pray to one, I will read, I will go to another. Pine, I’ll go and kiss again; and such, mother, silence, such grace that you don’t even want to go out into the light of God.
Pierre listened to her attentively and seriously. Prince Andrei left the room. And after him, leaving the people of God to finish their tea, Princess Mary led Pierre into the living room.
“You are very kind,” she told him.
“Ah, I really didn’t think to offend her, as I understand and highly appreciate these feelings!
Princess Mary looked at him silently and smiled tenderly. “After all, I have known you for a long time and love you like a brother,” she said. How did you find Andrew? she asked hastily, not giving him time to say anything in response to her kind words. “He worries me a lot. His health is better in winter, but last spring the wound opened, and the doctor said that he must go for treatment. And morally, I'm very afraid for him. He is not a character like us women to suffer and cry out his grief. He carries it inside himself. Today he is cheerful and lively; but it was your arrival that had such an effect on him: he is rarely like that. If you could persuade him to go abroad! He needs activity, and this smooth, quiet life is ruining him. Others do not notice, but I see.
At 10 o'clock the waiters rushed to the porch, hearing the bells of the old prince's carriage approaching. Prince Andrei and Pierre also went out onto the porch.
- Who is this? asked the old prince, getting out of the carriage and guessing Pierre.
– AI is very happy! kiss, - he said, having learned who the unfamiliar young man was.
The old prince was in a good spirit and kindly treated Pierre.
Before dinner, Prince Andrei, returning back to his father's study, found the old prince in a heated argument with Pierre.
Pierre argued that the time would come when there would be no more war. The old prince, teasing, but not angry, challenged him.
- Let the blood out of the veins, pour water, then there will be no war. Woman’s nonsense, woman’s nonsense, ”he said, but still affectionately patted Pierre on the shoulder, and went up to the table at which Prince Andrei, apparently not wanting to enter into a conversation, was sorting through the papers brought by the prince from the city. The old prince approached him and began to talk about business.
- The leader, Count Rostov, did not deliver half of the people. He came to the city, decided to call for dinner, - I asked him such a dinner ... But look at this one ... Well, brother, - Prince Nikolai Andreevich turned to his son, clapping Pierre on the shoulder, - well done your friend, I fell in love with him! Fires me up. The other one speaks smart words, but I don’t want to listen, but he lies and inflames me, old man. Well, go, go, - he said, - maybe I will come, I will sit at your supper. I'll bet again. Love my fool, Princess Mary, ”he shouted to Pierre from the door.
Pierre now only, on his visit to the Bald Mountains, appreciated the full strength and charm of his friendship with Prince Andrei. This charm was expressed not so much in his relations with himself, but in relations with all relatives and household. Pierre, with the old, stern prince and with the meek and timid Princess Mary, despite the fact that he hardly knew them, immediately felt like an old friend. They all already loved him. Not only Princess Mary, bribed by his meek attitude towards wanderers, looked at him with the most radiant eyes; but the little, one-year-old Prince Nikolai, as his grandfather called him, smiled at Pierre and went into his arms. Mikhail Ivanovich, m lle Bourienne looked at him with joyful smiles when he talked with the old prince.
The old prince went out to supper: this was obvious to Pierre. He was with him both days of his stay in the Bald Mountains extremely affectionate, and ordered him to come to him.
When Pierre left and all the members of the family got together, they began to judge him, as it always happens after the departure of a new person, and, as rarely happens, everyone said one good thing about him.

Returning this time from vacation, Rostov for the first time felt and learned to what extent his connection with Denisov and with the entire regiment was strong.
When Rostov drove up to the regiment, he experienced a feeling similar to the one he experienced when driving up to the Cook's House. When he saw the first hussar in the unbuttoned uniform of his regiment, when he recognized the red-haired Dementyev, he saw the hitching posts of the red horses, when Lavrushka joyfully shouted to his master: “The count has arrived!” and shaggy Denisov, who was sleeping on the bed, ran out of the dugout, hugged him, and the officers converged on the newcomer - Rostov experienced the same feeling as when his mother, father and sisters hugged him, and tears of joy that came to his throat prevented him from speaking . The regiment was also a home, and the home was invariably sweet and expensive, just like the parental home.
Appearing to the regimental commander, having received an assignment to the former squadron, going on duty and foraging, entering into all the small interests of the regiment and feeling deprived of freedom and shackled in one narrow, unchanging frame, Rostov experienced the same calm, the same support and the same consciousness the fact that he was here at home, in his place, which he felt under his parents' roof. There was no all this disorder of the free world, in which he did not find a place for himself and made mistakes in the elections; there was no Sonya with whom it was necessary or not to explain. It was not possible to go there or not to go there; there were no those 24 hours of the day, which could be used in so many different ways; there was not this innumerable multitude of people, of whom none was closer, none was farther; there was no such obscure and indefinite monetary relationship with his father, there was no reminder of the terrible loss to Dolokhov! Here in the regiment everything was clear and simple. The whole world was divided into two uneven divisions. One is our Pavlograd regiment, and the other is everything else. And the rest didn't matter. Everything was known in the regiment: who was a lieutenant, who was a captain, who was a good man, who was a bad person, and most importantly, a comrade. The shopper believes in debt, the salary is a third; there is nothing to invent and choose, just do not do anything that is considered bad in the Pavlograd regiment; but they will send, do what is clear and distinct, determined and ordered: and everything will be fine.
